About Project
It was such an honor to work on this. Del Mar has never had an identity and to know that it will remain there for years to come is a great feeling. Client wanted a conservative and elegant logo. We picked a classic typeface and then reworked the Torrey Pine branch to look simplier and more iconographic. We all agreed that the Torrey Pine would be the best solution for a many reasons, it is a rare tree primarily existing in Del Mar and it has 5 point of origin for the needles vs. four on a typical pine.
